Jessica Jenyns is a photographer and videographer based in York, North Yorkshire.

Jessica was given her first DSLR at 18 after using a small, digital camera to document everything and anything.

Cameras became an extra limb, no matter the weight or the excursion, Jessica needed the comfort of it knocking against her hip.

Jessica took a Masters in Experimental Film and delighted in the equipment she had access to and the skills she learnt.

She worked with Rankin as part of an intimate Film Team and learnt a great deal about what she liked, and what she didn’t like, about the industry.

After going self-employed in 2019 (she is also an artist), she has worked with couples to capture their wedding and engagement celebrations, communities to document the vibrancy of their projects, wine festivals and theatre groups… The list goes on.
